Awesome. Very very clean. Warm and cozy. Cool little soap dispensary in shower, thought it was a nice touch. Also from way way outta town and this makes me feel like a little bit of home came with me!
Rick and Sherrie were very accommodating to our fish cleaning needs. Room was clean with nice northwoodsy decorations. Recently updated with floor coverings and paint. A neat tidy comfortable room. Hope to come back next ice fishing season.
Wonderful motel wonderful location great owners really clean! comfortable cozy rooms ,bathrooms lovely and updated great showers! great water pressure! They allowed us to park our small boat next to their outbuilding, we will be returning everything was perfect five stars for sure! And they even offered morning coffee and some late breakfast items you couldn't ask for more , we were even called back that party canceled so we were able to gain another day very thoughtful owners!
We came up from Iowa on a snowmobiling trip for 6 days. The rooms were clean and fresh with a very Northwoods feel to them. The owners were very nice and helpful. We arrived and the temperature was -30° and we had some issues with one of the sleds. They did everything they could to help us out with it. We will definitely stay here again. Felt very comfortable and welcoming!

Stayed in lots of small, inexpensive motels. This was one of the best. Rooms were the cleanest we have ever experienced. The fellow manning the desk was very knowledgeable about the area and available restaurants and coffee shops. The room was small but well laid out. Bed was very comfortable. If we're ever in that area again, we will definitely stay here.
I have been visiting my parents in Minocqua for 20 years and this is the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in! Got a lot of work done on their incredible wi-fi--management is very attentive--definitely booking again! Quietest, safest, and best value for lodging around, hands down.
Five stars all around. Comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms, a great shower, cool AC and a walkable location. Rick and Sherrie were kind and generous hosts–Sherrie even offered me a ride to Flambeau when I couldn’t get there myself. “We’re a mom and pop shop, so we like to help anyone we can,” said Rick. Thanks to a lucky cancellation I got to stay three nights. I enjoyed starting my mornings in the chairs outside with an instant coffee. Grateful I got to enjoy Minocqua from Skylark! Thanks guys!
We have stayed here a few times. Nice people. Very neat and clean. There is a place to sit by room outside. They even gave us ideas for meals and sites to see. Thank you for the memories.
Lovely accommodations, wonderful hosts and charming decor. My room was clean, bed was comfortable and the AC worked like a champ in 96 degree heat. I would absolutely stay here again when I am back in the area.
